Things to Know

  • YRLC Roads are gravel roads made up of loose materials such as crushed rock, gravel, and stone. These types of roads can be challenging to navigate due to the loose surface, which can cause vehicles to slip or lose traction. Four-wheel drive vehicles are recommended for traveling on gravel roads because they have better traction and stability compared to two-wheel drive vehicles.

  • YRLC WILDLIFE: There is an abundance of wildlife such as deer, coyotes, turkeys, and porcupines with the occasional bobcat, mountain lion, and black bear. It is important to drive cautiously in these areas to avoid accidents and protect wildlife

  • Drilling a well for water is not always successful, as the availability of water can vary depending on the location and geology of the area. There is no guarantee that a well will yield enough water, and drilling can also be expensive. Before drilling a well, it is important to conduct a thorough assessment of the area to determine the likelihood of success.
